S1 – Ep 247 – Kommetjie and Scarborough – Two Villages on the West Coast of the Cape Peninsula!

It is a very short drive from Noordhoek to Kommetjie and then on to Scarborough. These two villages are located on the West Coast of the Cape Peninsula. I just had to take a walk on Long Beach and it was great to see the activity on this beach. The dogwalkers and surfers were out in full force and according to my untrained eye I thought the waves were awesome for surfing. Then we took a drive to Slangkop Lighthouse. It was unfortunately temporarily closed due to routine maintenance so I couldn’t get inside, something I still would love to do. I have never been inside a lighthouse. We then took a drive over the Slangkop Pass to Misty Cliffs and Scarborough, both located inside the Table Mountain National Park and therefore conversation villages.
