The CORRECT way is disconnect battery Negative cable first and reconnect battery Negative cable last! I changed the Air Intake Hose on a 2015 Honda Civic SE. The old intake hose have cracks. The car was getting the check engine code P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1, which means the car was getting too much air and too little fuel.
