NARROW ESCAPE - our narrowboat life adventure. In this episode we set off on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal from beautiful Kildwick heading towards Silsden and Keighley. Straight away we are into our first swing bridge before bumping into Gary Captain Philips and Nicky on Chugabug but it sounds like they’ve got a bit of a problem with Chugs… The countryside around this area is lush, green and LARGE so there’s always something nice to see. It turns out the herons are super tame here too with many of them not even flinching as you drive past. There are some very strange boats down here though and none stranger than what we subsequently find out is called “The Piano Boat”…take a look and see. After several attempts to moor up we finally find somewhere that isn’t too shallow and Elliott gets on with a few boat jobs and Sue records another episode of Sue’s Suppers!!
