a requested tutorial by my tumblr followers on how i did my makeup for my soon-to-be halloween costume! i'm not concerned about specifics, but to give this look a shot, you'll want: -concealer stick -foundation -tinted matte powder -dark pink/dusted rose blush -bronzer/powder 1 to 2 shades darker than your skin tone -eyebrow pencils in "taupe" (or blonde) and "auburn" (or ginger) -white eyeliner pencil -eyeshadows in champagne (preferably a shimmer or pearl texture), taupe/light brown (matte), and dark brown/chestnut, plus a white highlight colour (also, pearl and shimmers are best) and a matte black or dark grey -mascara (a relatively "natural" formula or "low coverage" mascara, nothing fancy) -lip liner in a dark pink/rose colour -lipstick, again, a dusted pink colour with brown undertones pretty much all the products i used came from drugstores, so this can be a relatively low-cost makeup look. the concealer stick, cream foundation, powder finish, and white loose pigment are from the body care department at the big carrot in toronto ( http://www.thebigcarrot.ca/department... ). the rest of the products are from shoppers drug mart. contacts are from coolcontacts.ca ( http://www.coolcontacts.ca/products/B... ) tumblr:   / www   music is: the x files theme from the show, "threnody in x" 'fight the future' original soundtrack, and the x files theme unkle remix from the 'iwtb' end credits
