PRESEASON DAY 4 |Maresca on fire with Solid Defending & Tactical Drills🔥Kepa Broja & Petrovic Return Chelsea Training today Chelsea fc news today Chelsea transfer news today Double sessions returned at Cobham on Thursday as Enzo Maresca and his squad begin to hit their stride in pre-season, with a couple more familiar faces returning from their summer breaks.We are approaching the end of the first week of Chelsea under Enzo Maresca, with the head coach taking his players out for a day of double sessions on the training pitch at Cobham. The numbers in his squad were bolstered by the involvement of Djordje Petrovic and Armando Broja for the first time. That makes for two more team-mates for our new signings Tosin Adarabioyo, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Omari Kellyman to begin getting to know, with the former Fulham defender reflecting on how he is settling in following his summer move from our neighbours. The defender has also been impressed with the quality of training sessions during his first week working with Maresca. The sun was out as the players and the coaching staff took to the grass for their fourth day of preseason work with a focus on their fitness . With the squad putting in plenty of effort during the drills, Maresca ensured they work on solid defending as well . The gaffer was spotted with Adarabioyo Chalobah Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill. The likes of Noni Madueke Christopher Nkunku and Raheem Sterling were all involved in the fitness focused drills! . Familiar faces of Carney Chukwuemeka Andrey Santos and Alfie Gilchrist all took part in the intensive session. According to reports from Cobham, Kepa Arrizabalaga is training with the development squad, not the first team. He is likely to leave the club this summer .
