We've had many remakes over the years, some re-envision the original, paying homage to what came before but in the process changing what made it so impactful. Others seek to bring the exact same experience back with a shiny coat of paint, and then you have Resident Evil Remake. A game which improves on the original in every single way, it was beginning to look like REmake would stand in an echelon all on its own for the rest of time...Until Motive's Dead Space released and blew me away! This review I'll be detailing why Dead Space 2023 is one of, if not, the best remake of all time,. How Motive have shown reverence to what came before and how they've managed to improve on Viseral's 2008 masterpiece in every conceivable way.
