The WA-2000 is surrounded by lore and accolades. It's in movies, it's in video games, it's frequently referred to as legendary. However, it's also extraordinarily rare and barely made it out of the prototype stage of development. In fact it's pretty fair to say that even the produced ones are still really "prototypes". The Germans are consistently considered masters of firearms design, and the WA-2000 falls into that paradigm but there's very little data regarding the actual performance of the WA-2000, and even less so in the field.
