Backpacking Across Europe 2023 - Part 9 - Amsterdam, Netherlands

I took the train from Brussels to Amsterdam. I only had one day to spend in the Dutch capital, but it was a full day for sure! It is a beautiful city, but by far and away, my favorite thing was visiting and touring the Anne Frank House. It was such a strange feeling to set foot in the same place where Anna and her family hid for two years. To stand in the same place where they were captured was just terrifying! Then to actually see all of her diary entries that were on display at the end of the tour was so surreal. They do not allow photography or video inside of the museum, so none of this is shown on this video, but I strongly feel that visiting the Anne Frank House is reasons enough alone to make a trip to Amsterdam!!
