NOTE FROM TED: Please do not look to this talk for medical advice. We’ve flagged this talk, which was filmed at a TEDx event, because it appears to fall outside TEDx’s content guidelines. This talk contains sweeping claims about cancer and emotion that are uncorroborated by scientific evidence. TEDx events are independently organized by volunteers. The guidelines we give organizers are described in more detail here: http://storage.ted.com/tedx/manuals/t... Professor David Khayat, former president of the french national cancer institut, describes the relationship between sadness, uncontrolled stress and the risk to developp a malignant disease. He tells us what could be the mechanisms at the basis of that relationship. He gives also some advice on how to work on that risk of having a cancer, which affect today one men out of two and one woman out of three. Parisian Professor David Khayat is the expert in the field of cancer prevention. In 2010, after having conducted scientific research on this topic for over 30 years, he stirred up France with the launch of his book The Real Anti-Cancer Diet. On the 13th of June, David will discuss the effects healthy eating habits have on cancer prevention.
