In honor of Women's History Month and International Women's Day, I wanted to do a project that celebrated women and highlighted some of my very talented family and friends. Working with each of the ladies on this project was so inspiring! Each of them brought their own experience, musical ability, and was a joy to collaborate with. Nina Simone once said, “I think women play a major part in opening the doors for better understanding around the world." I couldn't agree more. When women are empowered, we as a society are empowered. Thank you to all the women who are artists, creatives, leaders, activists, workers, thinkers, mothers, wives, partners, daughters, sisters, supporters & friends who literally make our lives possible.
