The Specter is a near maximally stacked (35mm heel / 30 mm forefoot) trainer racer with a rigid unplated rocker geometry and quite aggressive toe spring. The midsole is made up of a combination of an outer carrier of light EVA foam with a central core of high rebounding PEBAX expanded bead foam that is 16mm thick at the heel and 14mm at the midfoot. Weight is 7.95 oz / 225g in my US8.5 sample which is highly competitive for shoes of its stack and class. Tested samples were provided at no charge for testing purposes.
