There are many good sites with lots of detail on the pump, gasket etc. so also find those. NOTE: I use a naked wire to short circuit the lid switch which I had removed. A valid comment appeared and suggested to use an insulated wire instead of a naked wire like me. This makes complete sense so simply snip a couple inches of loose wire that you probably have lying around and expose the copper on each end. Or wrap naked wire in electrical tape.
