Getting there requires trekking upriver — which can be a little challenging due to heavy rain, high-river levels, and a swift river current. ✅SUBSCRIBE YOUTUBE @Philip James Wanron Hot Spring is at the base of Malishaka. Trekking there is easiest during the dry season. If heavy rain, the river levels are high — with a swift current. In this case, a first-timer is better off going with a guide or proper gear for safety. If river levels are high, the best path back could be by tubing. Located Just downstream from the hot springs is the Lintienshan logging village. Forestry began in the area in 1918 — under the name Molisaka. In 1925 the area was declared by the Japanese government as the Lintianshan logging area — this is where logging was processed from Mount Da'an.
