Mies Goes Future l Sergei Tchoban

Sergei Tchoban created on site a drawing of a new underground building for the visitor center on the grounds of House Lemke. This film shows the creative process and can be seen together with the architectural drawing as an installation at the Mies van der Rohe House from October 29th 2021. This feature is part of the ongoing film- and exhibition project Mies Goes Future inviting artists, architects, art and architecture historians to explore the possibilities of how the future of the Mies van der Rohe House as an institution can be shaped. In different formats, such as interviews, monologues, sketches, photographs or drawings, the connection to the work of the architect Mies van der Rohe as a source of inspiration will be expressed clearly. The contributions are presented in the Mies van der Rohe House, on the website and on the YouTube channel of the house.
