The next 24 hours back at Station 9 with firefighter Robert Castillion, he just made Captain at the busiest station in Fresno, Station 3. A call comes in, it's a rubbish fire which the company handles. Then it's night and another call and they are in on this mattress warehouse fire. Season 1 follows the firemen of Fresno, California. A camera crew is in embedded in fire companies through the city and follows each crew during their 48 hour shift as they fight fires, perform rescues on land and at sea, and assist during medical emergencies. Additionally, we get to know the individual firemen in the company and what the everyday life is for these everyday heroes.
