Bill Cracknell has been working in the entertainment touring industry for four decades, beginning as a working musician, followed by 32 years as a tour and production manager, and tour accountant. The eldest child of a career naval officer, he has led an itinerant existence since his birth. His touring background runs the gamut of musical genres from rock (Marilyn Mason, Blondie, Heart), to pop (Hanson, Air Supply), to R&B (Toni Braxton, Blackstreet), to touring musical theater. For the past six years, he has focused on country music touring (Vince Gill, Chris Young). He’s traveled the world extensively in his work, producing tours to all 50 states and over 40 countries on five continents. Bill is an active member of the Tour Professionals Alliance, and the Event Safety Alliance. In 2012 he became only the second tour manager in history to receive StromReady certification from the National Weather Service in recognition of his initiatives to ensure weather safety at outdoor live events. Bill lives in Nashville, TN.
