DIY Harry Potter Birthday Card - From You Know Who

Know someone who is a Harry Potter fan? This card would be perfect for their birthday! Get creative and personalise the envelope. You can also buy the card from our Etsy Shop:(www.etsy.com/shop/BriscCrafts) Instagram: @BriskCrafts TV What you need: - A4 black card paper - A4 white card paper to cut - Pencil - Ruler - Rubber - Black sharpie marker (or any other black marker) - Gold sharpie marker (or any other gold marker) - Envelope - Compass (or any circular object around your house) Instructions: 1. Fold the black card paper in half 2. Mark 0.5cm from the edges and measure the space in between the markings 3. Cut the white A4 paper to these measurements 4. Stick the white paper onto the black paper 5. Mark the middle and draw two straight lines below it 6. Write "Happy Birthday" on the first line and "(From You-Know-Who) 7. Use your compass, or circular object, to draw the outline of the glasses 8. Adjust your compass to draw a smaller circle, or use a smaller circular object, to draw the inside of the glasses 9. Draw the lightning bolt 10. Go over everything in black marker, and the lightning bolt with gold marker 11. Rub off any visible pencil lines 12. Cut another white paper to stick inside the card 13. Write your birthday wished in the middle (I wrote the quote "Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light") 14. Rub off any visible pencil lines 15. Put a cardboard inside the envelope to prevent marking the other side 16. At the bottom corner of the envelope draw Harry's glasses (I drew them smaller than the ones on the card and I used two different sized coins) 17. Fill in the glasses with black marker 18. Rub off any visible lines
