The news is conducting interviews with the X-Men but they take a dark turn once Cyclops bursts into a rant following a question about his new born child (Cable). Magneto offers Rogue the option to rule Genosha by his side as his queen. Leaving her interaction with Magneto, Rogue confesses to Gambit that although she knows his heart beats for her, she cannot feel it. During the gala, a fully grown Nathan Summers, now Cable warms the party goers to turn of the music as there is an attack incoming. Madelyne meets Cable and recognizes his eyes as the baby she sent with Bishop to the future. Ecstatic that her baby survived, Cable is then teleported as the attack he was warning them about occurs. Magneto, Rogue, and Gambit attempt to fight of the Godzilla Sentinel as it lays waste to Genosha, killing an unknown number of mutants. Omega Level Magneto, holding Leech in his hands, is killed by a blast from this Godzilla Sentinel as he was protecting Rogue and Gambit. Rogue, in a fit of rage begin flying towards the Sentinel, with no regard for whether she lives or dies. Rogue gets knocked out the way of the blast by a motorcycle Gambit was using. With the Sentinels attention being directed towards the surviving mutants in the garden, Gambit charges the Sentinel but gets killed before reaching it. With his final breathes, Gambit charges up the object that struck him along with the Sentinel attached to it and gives us his signature catchphrase and the title of this episode. "The Name's Gambit, mon ami......Remember It." The episode ends with Rogue holding Gambit in her arms, finally able to touch him but unable to feel him, as his heart beats no more. #cyclops #jeangrey #mutants #morph #marvel #wolverine
