"There's a lot that we get wrong about Jesus, and a lot of it has to do with the assumptions and the presuppositions we bring to the text when we presuppose univocality, the notion that there is a single Jesus of the New Testament, because the four different gospel authors are presenting four different Jesuses. They're talking about them in very different ways in order to address specific audiences who have specific needs, who maybe have specific misunderstandings.
