The 74th episode presents a new set of up and coming performers of SDN. Moulding students into artistes is a long process, and this episode of Tapasya focuses on how the role of the Acharya is multidimensional and not confined only to imparting the knowledge and nuances of the art form. The Teacher should impart discipline, ethics, moral values etc. to the students which will make them not only successful artistes, but also responsible human beings. Tapasya - the training sessions, is a series of videos that will be published on a monthly basis (as episodes) on the last day of every month. The students featuring in Tapasya series have about 6-8 classes every month. Each episode of Tapasya is a cumulative overview of what is taught to them during the course of the month. Along with the training sessions of the children, Tapasya also holds inputs on teaching techniques from Smt. Sheela Unnikrishnan and useful tips from the regular performers of Sridevi Nrithyalaya.
