Picton Heights Nov 11, 2023 Temp 0 degress and cloudy Dave, Sandy, Abbey and Fiona We have been called to attend a final investigation of the Picton Heights ex air force base in honour and respect to our fallen investigator of COPS Darren Thomas. It is also the last time this base will be investigated as it is being torn down for redevelopment. We had a small cache of equipment as the contamination factor was very high. So we would say our piece at the beginning out of respect and crawl through the buildings. Sydney, Wes, April and Chris ended up keeping with our company for the duration of the investigation. It was a very cold night. There was wildlife activity amongst the buildings as well as heavy equipment noise from behind the location. Former owner was burning all the target material. There were another clutch of teams in the opposing buildings. However we did not interact at the same investigative process. There did seem to be one distinct pattern. Among noises that we heard there seemed to be KII hits, to the red on a regular. 2 different units 10 metres apart seem to be going off simultaneously. This was more apparent on the top part of the soldiers residence in the foyer. And on the top floor of the hospital wing. It did seem to react when I asked if it wanted me to go away. So, in fact I did after some time. I am worried that maybe the nearby airport, which was not having takes off may have contributed to the signal somewhat as all our phones were on airplane mode or off. There is no power to the facility at all. That said it was interesting. Was an honour to be there. Of the 8 investigations we have done there this is the most activity that we had seen. Albeit not a convincing amount in our opinion. I still believe there to be little activity at the location
