At first i thought that Scorpion's teleport would be handy to avoid Corrupted Shinnok's Fire Blast, but since this particular movement makes you exit the screen by heading back instead of vanishing it actually is very unsafe to use. Regardless, it turns out that the ground Takedown is actually very effective as it can dodge every single one of Corrupted Shinnok unblockable moves and it can cancel the dread Fire Blast.
