You really are something' Short db: I watched this show and of course it was the ship that was never going to be that I liked the most. Story of my life. Long db: I think what I liked about them is the fac that no matter if you see it as only platonic or more, they have a deep connection (which I can't really see with Benny or Harry, but no hate on them. I actually like Beth with them too but for other reasons) and they are really cute on top of it. Now, I am sure a lot of you would say why do I still ship them if it's obviously unrequited and Townes is gay? Well, because 1.you can't help who you fall for, so I can't blame Beth at all and 2.I think Townes is bi, not gay. I mean have you seen those looks? If that's a guy being gay I'm jused as clueless as Beth. I honestly think he liked her but it was not in the way she did or hoped to be. He probbably liked her for her talent and her bright mind but there was attraction too, which is why he was 'confused'. Of course, he realised that it was not 'like that' and he just wanted friendship and he had a boyfriend, yes, but that doesn't make him less bi...does it?(unless it's clearly stated in the book, and since I haven't read it yet, you are more than welcome to tell me.
