#outerbanks #obx #manteo On a recent trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina, we visited Roanoke Island Festival Park. We visited this historical site once before - back in the early summer of 2020, right after it reopened following the pandemic closures. At that time, all we could see were the outdoor exhibits because the museum, interactive exhibits and theater were all closed. And there were no historical interpreters present to answer questions as there usually are in the park. We still enjoyed the outdoor exhibits. But once the park fully reopened last year, they (@roanokeislandfestivalpark1446) commented on our video and encouraged us to come back to get the full experience. So we worked it in to this summer's trip and happy to share just a few of the highlights here with you.
