I collect vintage RG550s. It's the guitar I played when I was a teenager. I'm positive there must be a whole generation of guitarists out there that played on Wizard necks in their teens. I found this one on eBay with a mended cracked neck and some truly bizarre repair jobs and mods. It was filthy, forgotten and in need of a new loving home. No one bid on it. No one wanted it. But that is my secret. I buy the things no one wants. I offered the seller a reasonable amount well below the auction price, and they accepted. According to the seller, they acquired four Desert Sun Yellow RG550's in an estate sale. All were either 89's or 87's. All were modded. This one stood out. And it's now mine.
