Flex innovation has been a long time, friend and collaborator with Flite Test. Designed by world champion pilot Quique Somenzini, the Flex Innovations Twin Otter is capable of incredibly slow speeds all the way up to mine bending 3-D aerobatics. Today we unboxed, build, and fly this amazing monster size twin motor powerhouse to get a first experience from Josh Bixler and then hand the controls over to his youngest son Mike for a from a 3-D aerobatic pilot. After that, the team hands the controls to Dave Jester to take up and fly during the solar eclipse. This aircraft has been a source of inspiration for the entire FT team for quite some time.
