The Pellenc ST Test Center has been designed to conduct industrial tests for clients and to organize trainings on machines. In this center, located in Pertuis, customers can try new sorting processes and product features in safe conditions. This way, waste and recycling operators can determine the best sorting strategy in real-life conditions without interrupting their production process. For example, in this video, the input stream includes a collection of mixed recyclables, such as PET (52%), HDPE (20%), PP (12%), TETRA (8%), PS (4%)... The Pellenc ST Mistral+ machine sorts at a very high speed (3m/s) and therefore can process 5 tonnes per hour.
