Arm In Guillotine Chokes can be an excellent submission to have in the arsenal. They can also be one of the more frustrating moves in BJJ. At least in the beginning. I've seen so many people in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu try and finish the arm in guillotine choke and just not quite have it. Either because of angle of the body or the grip they have around the neck. In this video I show a grip adjustment you can use to finish the arm in guillotine choke. I've called it, and have heard it called, the Reverse Gable grip. So that's what we will go with for this video. Now the grip looks a little strange and probably will feel a little odd when you're trying it. But give it a try. Grab a partner and use the grip adjustment and see how it works for you. I suspect that you will be surprised by how well the grip actually works to get the finish.
