DIY Stirplate - Powerful and Cheap

In this video I show you how I made my own stirplate. This is more powerful than some more expensive commercial ones out there! You can see me using it in my Tabasco sauce video (   • Tabasco Style Hot Sauce Recipe Part 2  ). The parts for this shouldn't cost you much. What you need: - a box. I used one that I bought on Amazon (http://amzn.to/2mQoqh2), but you can use an old cigar box, or anything else you have lying around. - PC fan, you should have one lying around, or in an old broken PC. If you don't, then you can buy one for £5 (http://geni.us/arcticfan) - Rare earth/Neodynium magnets (http://geni.us/neomag) - You need a way to control the speed of the fan. In the video I am using a potentiometer (https://goo.gl/D9zHkr). I actually switched this out for a PWM 12v motor control system, which is much more controllable and doesn't heat up like a potentiometer.
