A metal cover of Sail by Awolnation, based on the cover by Devildriver. So I really liked the cover of Sail by Devildriver and felt like doing my own. After recording the main lines I started added in some extra instrumentation and in started morphing into a cover of a cover. There's some extra string lines, choral lines and a piano in there now and some of the melodic lines have been altered slightly with some extra 3rd harmonies for good measure. I hope you enjoy my Metal version of Sail which is heavily influenced by the Devildriver cover! Please share with anyone else who might appreciate an instrumental version of Sail too!
