Restoration of a very rusty Record No4 Plane - ASMR

In this video I’m restoring a very rusty Record No4 plane with broken handles (tote). The Record plane is very similar to a Stanley No4, some might say it is a total rip off. During the depression Record were encouraged by the British government to provide home made products through placing large import duties on American products. I’m quite happy with the restoration, I think the handles came out particularly well and the change of colour ties the whole package together nicely. My only slight disappointment was the amount of pitting caused by the rust, which I was unable to get rid of.
