The sequel to Ace Combat X's Blitz - with the added bit of satisfaction of getting revenge of those damn lights. Theoretically, a higher score is possible - I got one more tower worth of score in an unrecorded run, probably because my wingmen blew it up. They actually can lock on to the towers, how convenient! And of course, you do have to leave some enemies at the base to keep Basilisk entertained...but that's a sacrifice you just have to make. This run was under 9 minutes so I got the maximum time bonus for this mission a well. Frankly, I dunno if we should count the combined score or just the destruction score for high scores, but frankly that's for others do decide. This is my best effort, and it's plenty good enough i reckon. That said, I did go as fast as I can, and it's a bit shocking to think the A-10s the best choice for that. But what you lose getting there, you gain in low speed maneuverability, which saves you multiple attack runs and makes handling the towers much, much easier. My initial bet was the Strike Eagle with SFFS, thinking I could carpet bomb the whole damn valley,but they weren't effective. Shame, that'd have been a good AC6-themed remix. But I I'm always glad to give the A-10 a rare spotlight.
