[4K] Disney Illuminations Night Time Spectacular, join us at the Central Plaza where Magic lights up the sky, combining captivating music, dazzling fireworks and breath-taking projections onto the newly refurbished Sleeping Beauty Castle. Disney Illuminations is a night time spectacular at Disneyland Park in Disneyland Paris. It opened on 26 March 2017 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the park and replaced Disney Dreams!. Based on the Ignite the Dream night time spectacular at Shanghai Disneyland Park, the show features projection mapping onto Sleeping Beauty Castle castle, fireworks, water fountains, fire, music, lasers, searchlights, and other special effects. The show was temporarily suspension on the 12th March 2020 due to the park's closure during the COVID-19 pandemic returning briefly on 21st December before being suspended again on 3 January 2022. The show was finally able to return on the 16th February 2022 2 weeks before the Disneyland Paris 30th anniversary celebrations. The show is designed by Walt Disney Creative Entertainment and is sponsored by the Danish Jewellery manufacturer, Pandora. Disneyland Paris is an entertainment resort in Chessy, France, 32 km (20 miles) east of Paris. It consists of two theme parks, 6 Disney Resort hotels, Disney Nature Resorts, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex and a golf course. Disneyland Park was the first park to open on the 12th April 1992 as Euro Disneyland with the resort known as Euro Disney Resort. A second theme park, the Walt Disney Studios Park, opened in 2002. Disneyland Paris has gone through a number of name changes since opening as Euro Disney Resort. On the 1st June 1994 the name changed to Euro Disneyland Paris before dropping the Euro part a few months later on the 1st October 1994. Between 16th March 2002 and 3rd April 2009 the resort was known as the Disneyland Resort Paris before changing back to just Disneyland Paris again. Disneyland Paris celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2022, with celebrations starting 6th March.
