The Batu Caves feature stunning stalactites and stalagmites, formed over 400 million years through the slow deposition of calcium carbonate from dripping water. These natural limestone formations add to the caves' awe-inspiring beauty and geological significance. Fun Fact: Did you know Batu Caves is home to one of the tallest Lord Murugan statues in the world, standing at 42.7 meters? Next, we'll head to the beautiful Thean Hou Temple, one of the oldest and largest Chinese temples in Southeast Asia. Marvel at its intricate architecture and serene surroundings. After that, we'll wander through the charming alleys of Kwai Chai Hong, known for its vibrant cafes and captivating mural art. Discover why this area has become a favourite spot for both locals and tourists. Kwai Chai Hong was established through a restoration project in 2019, transforming old, derelict alleyways in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown into a vibrant cultural hub with cafes, murals, and art installations, celebrating the area's rich history and heritage. Finally, we'll explore the famous Petaling Street, also known as Chinatown. Learn why this bustling market street is famous for its eclectic mix of stalls, offering everything from delicious street food to unique souvenirs.
