The Ombre look is not hard to achieve and is really great for if you don't want to go all over blonde. I have done this to my hair before two or three times. Once I even did a multicolor ombre! It's very easy and the process takes only about two hours including styling. It cost about $20-$25 for all of the supplies. Just be smart and read the directions on the box. Also if you have bleached or colored you hair in the last month and a half, you shouldn't damage it more by bleaching it again. I've found that 6-8 weeks is the best amount of time to wait between dyes. The supplies include: a comb with a pointy end to separate strands, a brush to back comb sections, foil pieces, a conditioning mask or two, and the dye. The type of dye you buy really depends on how dramatic you want your ombre to be and how dark your hair is currently. My hair is dark brown with a little bit of reddish tones so I need a very strong bleach to lighten my hair. That's why I leave the conditioner in for at least 10 minutes - usually longer. My absolute favorite conditioner is the L'oreal total repair damage eraser. It is the BEST mask conditioner I've found and it especially works well to replenish moisture in dry or damaged hair from styling & bleaching. disclaimer!
