So it’s been a busy and exhausting 24 hours for the Steve young horsemanship team . With Nita being 21 years old never having a foal before we were very aware of the risks we were taking . With the amazing help along the way from Graham Fowke of cotts equine vets and constant monitoring from all here we now have “ Indie - Ann “ and what a cracker she is . She’s already had everyone here laughing and we are quickly forgetting all the sleepless nights and worry . Many are asking if we filmed anything of the birth and we did manage to get a little ! Here are a few clips of the last 24 hours from birth to running around the turnout. If your squeemish fast forward 20 seconds but you will miss out on something special . It was a very difficult birth for Nita and she was very exhausted!
