Dave Dick on Merriman the Second leads parade onto racecourse, followed by Stan Mellor on Frenchman's Cover and Toss Tarafe. Various C/Us Mrs. Mirabelle Topham with Field Marshall Harding and Spanish Ambassador. More shots horses parading: Bobby Beasley on Nicolaus Silver, Johnny Lehane on Mr. What. L/S horses milling about at start. Various shots of race, intercut with shots of crowd. We see horses at Becher's Brook, Canal Turn, Valentine's Brook and the water jump. Fred Winter brings Kilmore over last fence first. Kilmore goes onto win the race, followed by Wyndburgh second and Mr. What third. Kilmore is lead off track, past crowd and into an unsaddling enclosure. A stable girl takes off the saddle, in background is Kilmore's trainer Ryan Price. Kilmore's odd of winning were 28-1!
