Chaos broke out at Wanglobo Primary school; a polling station in Otwal Sub county after goons allegedly, forcefully gained access to the polling station, confiscated ballot books and ticked them before stuffing them back to the ballot box. Voting was stopped at the polling station for hours until fresh electoral materials were replaced. UPC party president Jimmy Akena says NRM is behind the rigging but Dr Tanga Odoi who was on ground refutes the claim. By press time tallying was still ongoing to ascertain who becomes the next member of parliament for Oyam county North. Four candidates are in the race including NRM’s Samuel Engola, UPC’s Eunice Apio Otuku, FDC’s Newton Freddy Okello and Daniel Okello for National Unity Platform.
