Video from the Yorkshire Classic Boxing Day pre-unit and Charity trial at Manywells, Cullingworth. Eight sections were riden 4 times on a rain free day on this sloping grass and steep wooded hillside venue. The grass soon turned to slippery clay making life difficult for the riders. By winning her class Katie Ward (3 marks lost) on her splendid Ariel also made sure of winning the Club's Pre-unit telefork springer 2023 championship with Dave Ingram (6 marks lost) also Ariel mounted coming a close second on the day and the Championship. However, the best performance of the day came from David Wilkinson on his diminutive 3 speed rigid Bantam in the Vintage 2 stroke class going for an amazing clean ride. On the lightweight machines, Andy Scott (Bantam) lost only 1 to head the non-championship machines, 4 marks ahead of Tony Calvert and Andrew Walters both Cub mounted.
