Toby Fox did an incredible job both creating the game Undertale and its soundtrack; and I tried to capture the passion and emotion he clearly put in to Undertale in this cover. I'd been wanting to do a big epic post-rock style cover for a while, and I came up with doing His Theme in that style and I just had to do it! I really wanted to bring in Home's melody, since I love that song, and as I was arranging, Hopes and Dreams fit in quite well. As I was playing Home, I accidentally started playing Stickerbush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2, and it just worked so beautifully I had to include it! It's one of my favorite tracks ever and such a classic of the VGM community; I hope you enjoy hearing my little take on it :D. I put in a couple references to Porter Robinson songs too; since he's my favorite artist and it just worked with the style! I'm super happy with the arrangement and mix on this cover; and so I didn't want to just film in my living room, so I took this one outside! It was 27 degrees and my hands were so cold all I could feel was pain but it was so worth it; this video looks way more professional.
