NOTE: I am no longer doing House Flipper, as my time is fully devoted to my work in Blender. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The Story A lovely little house decorated with bright poppy-red and fresh Flower Bud green, specially designed for Ms. Jessica Newton, fashion editor for hip-and-trendy Vibrant Flair magazine. Twenty-something and sporting a recent promotion, what better way to splurge than on a custom-decorated house in your favorite colors? “One can never have too many poppies!” she says, and her fresh-vibe home reflects that. The main part of the house is open and breezy, “like wind through a poppy field.” Jessica also wanted a special little getaway, a “secret room” if you will, so I gave her her own private bath complete with water wall, which gives the small room a sense of openness while serving as a divider. Accessible only through her bedroom, this “personal spa” is the perfect place to spend some quiet time luxuriating in a hot bath or snuggled up with a book. The backyard has plenty of room for entertaining guests, or having a few close friends over for dinner and a dip in the pool. A separate small garden area makes a perfect place to sit and watch the koi fish swim around in the pond, maybe have a cup of tea or a glass of refreshing lemonade to wind down the day. Oh, and the garage is plenty big enough so that if she and her longtime boyfriend Jake ever decide to get married (that's his bike next to hers), they'll still have room for two cars. ---------- The Design In this house, I wanted to play with two different colors: vibrant red and soft green. The sharp contrast gives it a lively, springtime energy I really like, so I enjoyed working on this house. I later realized that fellow House Flipper Débora Bonamico (   / loira220584  ) had also worked with these colors, with beautiful results. (Fun fact: The color scheme and theme for this house was inspired by a poppies wallpaper I had on my desktop computer at work. --------- Wanna try this for yourself?
