This performance is part of a series recorded by RARE (Rostrevor Action Respecting the Environment) which aims to verify the existence of "The Invisible Tree" of Rostrevor Oak Wood, and also, to expose the professional practice of wilful - blindness by "consultants" - including the tree consultant who denied the existence of this tree in his professional planning report supporting inner city style development adjacent to the Oak Wood. By touching and bearing witness to "The Invisible Tree" (so far in 17 different languages), environmental/common sense campaigners and artistes from around the world are playing a crucial part in developing awareness of the need to care for our environment and, at the same time, challenge those who object to the protection, or even the existence of our life support system of nature.
