Having a good writing routine is essential for an author to succeed and not have to deal with editors and business partners breaking into your house to see if you've actually made any progress. But what makes a good writing routine? Well, in this video, I'll share my routine, which I synthesized from authors like Ernest Hemmingway, to Toni Morrison, to Stephen King, to Muammar Gaddafi. Like all of these successful authors, this routine requires that you get up early, write without distraction, take breaks for inspiration and set aside a separate time to be an editor, which might even mean deleting all of your progress and basically wasting your entire day.
