With the tools available today, its easy to use a modular to precisely score what you have in your mind, and shape just like you would on a multitrack workstation. The added advantages are the joy of hands on control, the sounds of analog circuitry and modulation send to many signals, creating a more cohesive mix even before hitting tape. Recall is of course only possible as long as you keep the patch, or get really exact about manual patch-sheets. The play is Woyzeck by Georg Büchner and premiered rather successfully last weekend.
