I still feel nothing but loathing towards the last season of the main show but the first season of HOTD just was THAT GREAT? You have no idea how much I tried to hate this show but I don't. According to the fandom, I may root for the wrong ones again but am I EVER glad that I feel inclinded to throw my creation out here as well. This edit was done way back in March but I kinda lost track of time because of various things and then I really wanted to edit with other fandoms first and now we are here. I know that Alys has an official cast announced by now but I just wanted to share what I created before. Given the fact that "Fire & Blood" is actually a bit of a compilation of unreliable narrators from what I gathered (it's the one thing I did not read from the universe, I admit), I do not know if their relationship in the show will cause me to ship them once I see them on screen. Because there are questionable things and I have so many unfortunate ideas how the show can present them even more screwed up than they already are, if possible. So, this is just an AU for what could happen. Or: I needed an excuse to make an edit with Eva Green and this was the opportunity. Plot: Like in the book, Aemond conquers Harrenhal and gets interested in the witch and the bastard of House Strong. He keeps her alive, so she can help him with his plans. (Being born and treated as a bastard, Alys would not mourn the death of her House that much and she is quite manipulative enough to not dwell on such emotional things). But then he cracks one joke about her bloodline that was just too "strong" and she may or may not start her plan to seduce him (with or without witchcraft is up to you) and lead him to his doom. Though, feelings did develop as the events of the book happen, so she does regret it in the end when his fate was not to be prevented anymore. Though, maybe not all hope is lost? (It's an AU, just let me.) Despite all that, am absolutele aware of the irony due to my shipping history that those two have their prime time in freakin' HARRENHAL. Oh, I am cursed.
