Driving in Norway: Motorveien E39 from Kristiansand to Mandal

In this video you can ride along on the E39 and part of the new E39 highway from Kristiansand to Mandal in southern Norway. The video is a little bit older from last year, so at the time the larger part of the new motorway was not opened yet. We are therefore driving mostly on the 'new' Fv439, which was formerly the E39 until the new motorway stretch was inaugurated earlier this year. The new E39 highway will cut traveling times between Kristiansand and Stavanger by quite a margin and is of course not finished yet. The ambitious project will see the E39 continue as a full highway all the way towards Bergen in the future.
