Dreamcast VS Playstation 2 - DEAD OR ALIVE 2 - Lets compare!

Dead or Alive 2 is a great game, one I happen to own on Dreamcast and Playstation 2 (both in Japanese format) A course of action therefore presented itself to me - lets compare them! Dreamcast is recorded from actual hardware through VGA into an OSSC then Elgato capture card. The PS2 version is emulated in PCSX2, but I turned all the settings to PS2 native, including the output resolution, however it still appears more anti-aliased than i remember PS2 games actually being back in the day - this maybe some Nvidia graohics card game mode thing on my PC. The important thing is the game plays very well on either format. There are some noticeable graphical differences between the versions, Lighting is changed between the the versions, with DC having more saturated/stronger lights in some cut scenes, and the lighting direction changed in some stages on PS2. Textures - the PS2 has had some texture work done, a few new textures, reducing the contrast and saturation levels + some hue shifts to more earthy tones vs the DC game. The PS2 also gains some semi reflective / glossy floors in some stages. Geometry has changed between the versions, with some additions to cut scenes, and more detail in some environment stages on PS2. Environments - the PS2 has extra/different environments to DC. VFX - the PS2 has added some overblown VFX to the final boss stage which makes it borderline unplayable. elsewhere there are some new glows which look nice.
