Join me as I test the DJI Action 4's low-light performance for FPV Footage. This action camera with its large 1,3/1" sensor is showing promise as a valuable pick for FPV drone pilots. And I am curious how it performs! I was very unsure weather or not I should go for the GoPro 12 or the Action 4, but I ultimately settled for DJI, which I don't regret to the slightest. The Action 4 proves to be more reliable in all conditions and also far simpler than GoPro. I really wanted to get this camera for Flying FPV in bad lighting conditions, so that I can use it on professional shoots and for cinematic FPV with little to no noise in the image. I really love the quality that comes out of this camera and many claimed it to be low-light beast. Is that true though? The sensor might be big for an action camera, but it is still super small compared to something like Full Frame or even Micro Four Thirds. Well, this test is short and spicy and should give you an understanding of what results you can expect.
