I feel like this is going to turn into an essay but I'll try to dissect this as much as I can. I wanted to give the Dragon's Fury a try. Before Wave 1 we had to wait for 2 players to join. The others on the team were talking about Tacobot and as low as the odds of running into one of them are, today wasnt going to be their lucky day. I dont think they knew who had just joined since they reacted dismissively towards the repeated calls to F4. Wave 7 comes around and things are going to take a turn for the worse. This is going to be very controversial. One of them decides to use the Gas Passer. I know, I know. I need you to stay calm. Sit down and relax. I'll have to explain some stuff. I heavily dislike the Gas Passer and its Explode on Ignite upgrade in MvM, thats not a secret. It created this god awful "playstyle" that involves the abuse of Airblast in the most degenerate form. Players dont know any better and its not my job to explain it to them. Quite frankly it would be pointless to do so most of the time. But, I tolerate people using it. Now lets get back on track. They dont tolerate using it. I'm not even sure what their stance on Pyro is in general. From here on out things escalated quickly. Herald retries. The guy wants one good reason for not using the Gas Passer. I briefly give him the facts. Pay close attention to the votes. First vote. I didnt vote. Two of the F1's are from Herald and Hyzze so the last one came from one of the randoms. Keep that in mind. Second vote. I didnt vote. The two F1's are from Herald and Hyzze. Vote doesnt pass. Another tacobot joins. Third vote. I didnt vote. Three F1's against two F2's. Now, the thing that stands out from that is probably the fact that I never voted. Its quite simple. I didnt see any value in voting. It was a lose/lose situation. Would I have voted F1 I'd be in agreement with the reasoning behind said vote. I wasnt. Would I have voted F2 everything would have become even worse. If you want to argue that because I didnt vote I basically gave them an F1 vote, feel free to do so. But go back to the first vote that happened and you'll see that they brought it on themselves. One of the randoms betrayed the first guy. Lets wrap this up. I dont know if my involvement in all this affected anything. Herald knows me as an MvM player and streamer. I know Herald from hearsay, some videos and I believe this was the second time we randomly joined into games with each other. What I'm trying to say is that I dont know much about him. He strikes me as someone who likes to offend people, who has strong opinions about MvM and has the ability to carry entire games. I'm going to stop reading my crystal ball now and end it here.
