JPEGMAFIA talks Ghost Pop Tape & Crazy Tour Stories! Interview w/ Jasper Hopkins JPEGMAFIA caught up with Unity Radio's Breakfast Show host Jasper Hopkins for an interview before his sold-out show at the O2 Ritz in Manchester. The interview started off with some wild tour stories, and then he let us know about how life is as a newly independent artist and his upcoming re-release of 'The Ghost Pop Tape'. Peggy is renowned for his sample work, so he had to tell Jasper about some of the weirdest sounds he'd sampled to use in his tracks. After, Jasper wanted to know when the "man-band" Club Black Dust was getting in the studio together. The supergroup of JPEGMAFIA, Slowthai, Denzel Curry and Zillakami was announced in 2020 so JPEGMAFIA let us know when they're getting the band back together. JPEGMAFIA then shared his view of the current state of American hip-hop and then told us about his appreciation of Grime and the UK scene. To close off the interview, Jasper couldn't resist asking JPEGMAFIA about his long-standing feud with Morrissey. On Morrissey's home turf, Peggy challenged Morrissey to get in the ring with him.
